Directions for parking at P45, from Kemplay roundabout take the A6 towards shap, travel 0.4 miles, turn right for Ullswater on the B5320 and travel 1.0 miles,

turn left for Askham and travel 2.6 miles, in Askham turn left at the crossroads and travel 0.37 miles and park at P on the left, or cross Askham bridge  and park on the right at sign P45.

Directions for parking at P1 & P2, from Kemplay roundabout take the A6 towards shap, travel 0.4 miles, turn right for Ullswater on the B5320 and travel 1.0 miles,

turn left for Askham and travel 2.8 miles passing through Askham, turn left for Whale, from here ;

For parking at P1 – travel 0.6 miles, park on right hand verge before bridge.

For parking at P2 – travel 0.7 miles, park on left, do not obstruct the gate.
