Directions to parking (P): Exit M6 at Junction 41, exit roundabout signed Carlisle/Penrith, Travel 0.8 miles, at next roundabout (Stoneybeck) take 2nd exit signed Carlisle, Travel 6.3 miles, turn right for Armathwaite and travel 1.6 miles, at T junction turn right and travel 0.75 miles into Armathwaite, turn right and travel 0.3 miles (past Dukes Head and over Eden Bridge), turn right signed for Nunnery and travel 1.15 miles, park in gateway but do not obstruct access through gate.
